Mother’s Day Weekend: mix and match

This is my 53rd time celebrating being a mother, Jean being the first one to call me “mommy.” Twenty four Mother’s Days have come and gone since the last time I celebrated with my dear mom! I cherish the memories but I will always miss her. Having three children of my own makes me aware of the sacrifices a mother makes, yet the wonderful blessings I would never have known without them! This two-piece Asian-inspired ensemble is perfect for mixing and matching. It’s as comfortable as wearing pajamas. I love the delicate print of flowers and it feels like wearing a fine piece of art. The top was thrifted and a gift from my dear friend and just by coincidence was the perfect match for the pants I bought last fall. I’ve switched it up by pairing the top with black velvet jeans. My mom’s signature pose This time with a white top from my daughter’s eco-boutique and a linen jacket made in Italy which I bought 10 years ago in Germany. Turquoise jewellery is the ideal accessory. I’m so thankful we had a chance to visit our daughter Jean over the Christmas holidays. Our youngest son came too and it’s few and far between that I have all three of our children together. Memories Jean surprised me with several gifts, including this candle that I keep in my bathroom, always brings a smile to my heart. gifts from Jean Looking forward to seeing my three grandchildren today! Thanks for stopping by, wishing all moms a Happy Mother’s Day! my boys
